…..well don’t. Your body is your temple, treat it with respect. It is beautiful, unique and full of life. This is the only body you’ll have in this life and it is perfect, this is your transportation towards the next stage and this is the body you were meant to have. Take care of it. Instead of looking at your flaws focus on the things you like instead. It is okay to want to change things. It is okay to be a little dissatisfied. But never be disgusted with the way you look; your imperfections are what make you you. It is impossible to define beauty in one word because beauty is a collection of ideas, and everyone’s collection is different. It is okay to acknowledge things tgat you don’t like and it is okay to modify them, just stay healthy and happy. The sooner you stop worrying about the bad things the sooner they will disappear.
Be positive and love yourself, self appreciation is much better than self depreciation. Positivity will radiate from your physical body and empower your spirituality. Self-love will boost your confidence and enable you to love other people the way they are.
You’re awesome.
| Woman: | I'm smart |
| Patriarchy: | Well you're probably ugly then |
| Woman: | I'm creative |
| Patriarchy: | You mean unattractive right? |
| Woman: | I have all these incredible accomplishments |
| Patriarchy: | Yeah but look how ugly you looked doing them |
| Woman: | I have value |
| Patriarchy: | Not if you're ugly lol |
| Woman: | I'm conventionally-attractive & posted selfies on my blog |
| Patriarchy: | I'm so sick of these empty-headed chicks only caring about their looks. Just because you are attractive and get attention from men doesn't mean you are special or deserve respect. Why don't you read a book or do something productive with your life you dumb slut |
Every ending is only an opportunity for a new beginning.
