What is Spirituality?

Spirituality is a belief system that everything within this world is part of one greater energy, The Universe. The most important factors in Spirituality are: love, positivity, forgiveness and inner peace. The most significant Spiritual belief is nothing being greater than The Universe.

Is Spirituality the same thing as Spiritualism?

Spirituality can go hand-in-hand with Spiritualism and Wicca, and there are many modern day witches who are Spiritualists, however Spirituality and Spiritualism are not the same thing. This blog is mainly about Spirituality, however you may occasionally find posts relating to Spiritualism. The best way of describing the difference is Spirituality relates to life on this earth and having a good soul, and Spiritualism relates to life after death and spirit communication.

Do you have to be a vegetarian to be a Spiritualist?

We get asked this question a lot. Essentially, the Spiritualist idea of loving all living things equally would mean that you should be a vegetarian; but you can eat meat and be a Spiritualist, provided that there is no cruelty involved or unnecessary suffering to the animal. Many Spiritualists choose not to eat meat, and many choose to eat meat. It’s personal preferences really and doing what you think is most loving.
